Our Ministries here at First Presbyterian Church of Murfreesboro offer a variety of service and worship for our community. The adult Sunday School program at FPC is loosely organized, with members free to attend any class they choose at any time. We periodically have a fresh start to let everyone know what is happening in our Sunday School program. You will find that each class is interesting and worth attending. We will add a new class this year geared to younger adults. Our five classes are:

• Hippies, Preppies and Millennials, led by Leila Hinkle meets in Classroom A.
This class focuses weekly on the 1st and 2nd Scripture readings of that Sunday’s service.

• Friends of Job, led by Robb McDaniel meets in Classroom B
We have a discussion format and do deep dives into biblical texts, examining them in historical context and looking for what makes the Bible weird, profound, troubling, and beautiful.

• Last Room on the Right, led by Jim Crumley meets in Classroom D
The Last Room on the Right is a Bible centered discussion class. Currently, the class is looking at the words of Jesus in chronological order.

• Seekers of the Spirit, led by Bob Hunt meets downstairs in Harrison Hall
We focus on reading individual books, discussing a chapter per week as we move through them. We do not have a set curriculum. We choose the books one at a time.

• Young Adult, Coming Soon
We are working on a new class especially geared for our younger adults. You might even have opportunity to help us in the design! More information coming in the near future.
